Adventures

Galway Actors Workshop are very delighted to launch our new Adventures in Performance series of Saturday and Weekend workshops.

We recognise the need for ongoing drama and performance training at all levels, as well as for a wide variety of training opportunities in order to further enrich the diverse arts scene in our city. We realise that not everyone’s lifestyle allows them to commit to a full term of courses and have now come up with a flexible model which allows students to construct their own learning intensive learning experience while working with professionals of the highest calibre.

This Autumn/Winter we are offering day long courses on Saturdays in areas including circus, performance art, improv, acting using the Meisner method and professional development. As part of the latter, we will include a reduced rate photography session with a top class photographer in order to take professional standard head shots which can then be sent to agents and casting directors. We also have an Acting for Camera Weekend which takes place over a Saturday and Sunday.

For more detailed information on courses, please see below. All courses take place at the Anno Santo Hotel, Salthill, Galway from 12am to 7pm.

Courses can be booked singly or in package deals for a reduced price per class depending on how many are booked. The only exceptions to this are the Professional Development & Headshots workshop which has its own price, and the Acting for Camera Weekend which needs to be booked as a package of two.

Please see our Eventbrite page in order to book and don’t forget to state which classes you are signing up to..

If you have any problems or queries please call Sarah on 087 237 3531 or email galwayactorsworkshop@gmail.com.
